This role is responsible for the management and development of the Collections Policy across Mexican markets. The position is focused on strategies' development to optimize the profit generated by customers in default through balancing the expected credit losses, expenses of carry out the collections process and the channels of customer interaction by making intensive use of analytics, scoring models, statistical analysis and testing and control.
Among main responsibilities are Development and Management of Collections Policy, Data Analysis, Development of Statistical Segmentations, Written off portfolio Valuations and Sales, payment driver’s analysis, Testing plan, FIPS, OREOs strategy management, policy execution oversight, etc.
This individual must engage with multiple layers and functional areas of the organization and must be able to ideate and insure execution of collections policies that optimize EBIT by using efficiently the collections resources to mitigate the Net Credit Losses of the of the consumer bank. Candidate must have effective working partnership with collections operation to insure adequate execution of collections policy as well as coordinated effort to adapt collections policies to the different growth/stress scenarios presented by any given portfolio.
The ideal candidate has to apply statistical knowledge and experience in reviewing models and segmentation analysis as part of Risk strategy development. Strong understanding of the financial model for Consumer loans is also required.
Education LevelDegree in business, economics, statistics and or related disciplines.
Master degree preferred
Experience- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Collections and/or Risk management for Consumer loans including Strategy development
- Experience working in the Collections Operations is a plus
