Product Lifecycle Manager

Job Description:

The Product Lifecycle Manager is responsible for ensuring the business viability and customer acceptance of SMB SKU's from launch to end of life. The PLM accomplishes this by working with the product teams to define and launch SKU's and solutions, monitoring sales, channel and customer feedback on those SKU's and solutions and working with the responsible teams to monitor availability and competitiveness and recommend changes as necessary.


  • Work with the Rack and Tower product management teams to define SMB SKU configurations

  • Take the SMB SKU's through a timely launch process

  • Work with supply chain to ensure availability at launch and ongoing availability

  • Work with category management to monitor sales as well as channel and customer feedback

  • Form a closed loop to the product and solutions management organizations with feedback and recommendations

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA highly preferred)

  • 7+ years of work experience in related field

  • Understanding and knowledge of the IT industry

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Extensive team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others

  • Extensive skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis

  • Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection

  • Working across geographies may require early morning and late evening conference calls

  • Must be able to travel as required
