Job Summary

An effective Mechatronics Equipment Design Engineer Intern is able to provide creative, technically feasible solutions to problems and is tuned in to state of the art developments in the industry. An ideal candidate works well on a team, is well organized and flexible to constantly changing situations and priorities while still maintaining focus on high priority projects. Key skills of the successful candidate are ambition, authenticity, determination, leadership and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

The assignment for this person will to collaborate with engineers internally to:

  • Sustain production cells

  • Follow-up corrective and preventive actions

  • Create engineering change request

  • Bring support to Manufacturing Engineers in filling computer reports and filing

  • Sustain 5’s practice in production cells

Qualifications

  • Computer skills necessary to operate the system maintenance program and operations software.

  • Troubleshooting skills

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

  • Some practical experience in Industrial Engineering through internships or an entry-level position.
