Position Purpose:

Transfer and implement in our plant the technological information of new products or redesigned products, ensuring compliance with aspects of design, manufacturing process, equipment, documentation, specifications, raw material, to ensure the production of high quality products.

Let’s talk about main responsibilities:

  • Implement a table of new products in accordance with the Global Technology Transfer Standard

  • Implement cost optimization projects in formula and meet savings goals

  • Lead Initiatives of continuous improvement: Process improvements, Simplification of formulas, etc.

  • Support the qualification of raw materials and development of new suppliers (Global Program)

  • Ensure compliance with local and external regulations: FDA, Global Quality Standards, cGMPs, NOM, Cofepris, Kosher, etc.

  • Execute tests in Plant (EMOs), Validation of Manufacturing Processes

  • Manage systems: SAP, InBatch, PDM, DMS, Minitab, LabNet, Beat, DMS, etc.

  • Analysis, monitoring and improvement of Process Capacity

  • Review ingredient list / approve new arts via Beat System

  • Develop Technical Documents (Validation Protocols, Recipes in InBatch, Site Recipes, Manufacturing Orders, Change Control, SOPs, SPIs, EMO Reports, etc)

  • Training, supervision and technical support and leaders of the production area

  • Participate in Quality Audits, closing of audit findings, support for closing consumer complaints

  • Coordinate shipment of samples of Materials to R & D (Research & Development) for new developments, products for aging

  • Manage technology transfer folders

  • Prepare information for annual product review

What you need for this position:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes &/or technology transfer

  • Advanced English

  • Process validation experience

  • Experience in process capacity analysis

Additional knowledge/experience in the following is a plus:

  • Experience in standards related to FDA and COFEPRIS

  • Formulation and raw materials experience

  • Microbiology and analytical methods knowledge

  • Minitab management

  • SAP Knowledge

  • Inbatch Knowledge
