Overview of Job Function:

The CALA Channel Manager is responsible for the overall sales for the CALA market; third party alliances, and customer satisfaction for all Verint clients in the region. Manage Direct and Indirect (through Business Partner) in developing new, strategic level opportunities and growing existing accounts to increase the top and bottom line. This role will also assist in developing and implementing a strategy that maximizes Verint’s opportunities across all products. Sells and promotes the sale of Verint products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.

This role will participate in strategic and tactical planning. Builds working relationships with other Sales leaders; Solutions Engineering, Professional Services as well as other internal departments as needed. Develops and execute the plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on an as needed basis. Manages escalations and conduct weekly progress meetings with sales team. This is a remote position based in Mexico.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales against the revenue target quarterly and annually

  • Maintain understanding of Verint’s value proposition for all related products

  • Develop pipeline and continuously mature & qualify opportunities in order to increase Verint’s market share and to enable achievement of sales target

  • Monitor the progress of key customer transactions in the sales cycle to ensure Verint’s business processes and procedures are followed

  • Develops and execute each Business Partner plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.

  • Monitor customers’ satisfaction with Verint in the region and address any issue, promoting reference ability & building effective working relationships with key executives

  • Manage Business Partner sales team, providing direction, leadership and motivation

  • Set objectives, review the performance of individuals, take action to ensure targets are met & recruit new team members as required

  • Act as an ambassador for Verint with customers and partners’ executives

  • Engage with relevant Verint Partners as appropriate

  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, credit check and a Social Security verification.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant senior sales experience from a software or related industry/company

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to influence others

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; building/developing relationships, both internally and externally

  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills and ability to interface with all levels of an organization.

  • Proven capability to successfully penetrate into end users and call on senior level organizational contacts.

  • A consultative selling style with experience in proposal preparation and superior presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a complex organization; leading or being a member of virtual teams

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Advanced knowledge of English is a must

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field a plus

  • Experience in enterprise IT sales management

  • Required to travel around 60% of the time
