Provide long term strategy for Avionics electronic hardware team into Platform products organization, also build important presence in test systems covering USA and UK teams needs, also having important technical participation into the organization ensuring high interaction with technical leaders in order to build a solid technical depth.
Major Team Management: Collaborate on the team's vision and strategy definitions and execution. Leads and monitors team progress its implementation and monitor its progress. Plan, manage and optimize team's resources. Execute the planning, financial, resource development, technics and compliance sessions. Achieve the goals established by the business, such as OTD FTY, budgets, growth, etc.
Team Development: Decide, along with upper management, the definition and selection of personnel profiles, define the team member's roles and requirements. Own Session C and salary planning. Performance ratings, feedback session review individuals learning plans. .
Technical Contribution: Lead the execution and assess of Engineering Activities (drafting, modeling, analysis and report process, software among others) to meet project needs.
Quality: Ensure that Quality of Deliverables, Quality Management Systems, 6S and General and measurement of Quality objectives are met.
Responsible for the correct management and execution of projects/activities developed in his/her work team.
Global interaction with cross functional teams, to be able to collaborate in areas related to his/her work and to assure the requirements of the technology/process that he/she is responsible for.
Execute the implementation of compliance plan and activities.
Engineering approval signature for applicable engineering documentation
o Have a Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience
o English skills: Excellent written, oral and listening comprehension abilities both in Spanish and in English.
o Must be able to maintain a normal day-to-day fluid conversation on any topic with few mistakes (mistakes that will not affect getting the message through). Must have fluency and rhythm and sufficient self-confidence in the language to be able to handle meetings and conversations. o Proven experience in successfully managing LPB employees.
o Point of contact between counterparts and GEIQ
o Responsible for a complete organization within GEIQ
