Job description

"The ADAS Test and Validation group is continuing to build and strengthen our component level testing and development with the addition of a highly motivated and technically skilled ADAS Component Test Engineer. The Component Test Engineer supports our defined projects in the area of planning, preparation and performing the needed testing of ADAS sensor systems against defined requirements. The ADAS Test group is involved in vehicle and component integration, development & testing of long and short range Radar, Camera vision systems, LIDAR and related advanced vehicle sensing components. We are currently developing Full Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Controls, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Object Detection and Collision Mitigation Systems.

Core Responsibilities:

­ Create, modify and configure Software Scripts for bench level testing

­ Provide written summaries and test reports for all test activities performed

­ Support the root cause investigations, post processing of data and compiling /analysis of test results

­ Perform basic component level electrical and software troubleshooting

­ Provide technical support to other internal departments, as needed

Job Requirements

.Necessary requirements

"Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mecatronics or Computer Engineering

Demonstrate knowledge of SW languages: C – based languages, Matlab

Excellent oral and written communication skills (Presentations, Test reports, etc.)

Fluent in english

Work in a team environment, strong initiative, self motivated and flexible

Logical problem solver, pays attention to detail

Valid driver license

Valid USA Visa and travel availability

Excellent interpersonal skills

Additional requirements


Knowledge of vehicle communication systems (CAN, Ethernet)

Ability to read and interpret Electrical Diagrams

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and test procedures


Experience in component test methods and procedures

Knowledge of component test equipment: spectrum analyzer, frequency generators, data logger, etc.

Hardware in the loop experience.

Demonstrate knowledge of basic Automotive Tools: CANoe, Intrepid, etc. "
