The General Accountant will assist with daily accounting booking and analysis for accruals. Prepare JE´s as requiered and support payroll and bank activities.
Ensure SOX Internal Controls are in place and maintain integrity of general ledger transactions.
Assist with month-end financial closing activities, preparation of journal entries, accruals and account analysis.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensures that BS accurately reflects current assets and liabilities of the business.
Prepares daily accounting booking and provides reports as required.
Maintaining integrity of general ledger transactions. Ensures that the general ledger is closed within the timelines of the Company's closing schedule.
Ensures SOX Internal Controls are in place and aligned to Corporate guidelines (FICAP´s, SIC´s, BOS.) Ensure the company's intellectual property is protected.
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports including but not limited to annual operating plan reporting package, month-end bridge analysis.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports.
Research and corrects accounting discrepancies.
Assists with department overflow and maintains flexibility regarding work schedule
Supports vendor payments and bank operations.
Assists with Internal and External audits.
Responsible for payroll activities, prepare JE´s, trend analysis.
Support the annual physical inventory activity.
