Responsible for mid-scale to large and complex projects, having the technical and project management responsibility from the initial enquiry/quotation phase to execution and final signoff of the project. Projects will be related to different platforms and areas, including in Beer products platform and Membralox for special applications, and eventually Wine and Microza product platform. Coverage of projects mainly Mexico and Central America, but when need can be expanded to covering other Americas countries (Brazil, Chile, USA, Canada etc). Will work with multiple different teams and cultures, based in Brazil, USA, Argentina and Germany. Responsible to delivery projects in accordance to specification, on time and within budget. Support to customers at site when needed, working as a technical specialist for closed projects.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities Responsible to manage Americas projects for Beer or Membralox application, and eventually for Wine/Microza platform, according to contract, project budget, the required timing and quality, including proper scope & claim management from first contact during pre-order/quotation phase, through order award and until full completion of the project, including: 1.Responsible for the detailed technical process clarification (technology selection, sizing, design testing etc) together with the customer on requested equipment. 2.Prepare, or lead others, and approve, Bill of Materials for components, P&I drawings , process description for automation purposes. 3.Approve General Arrangement drawings (3D) for fabrication. 4.Responsible for the analysis of tender documents and the technical elaboration of the engineered equipment solution. Writing technical proposal and costing for the proposed solution. 5.Takes on the responsibility and ownership for the proposed equipment solution during project execution with a multidisciplinary team (establishment of project plan, coordination of project team, progress reporting and cost control). 6.Technical elaboration of detail design (including functional specification as a base for the process coding, define and creation of instrument, valve, apparatuses and fitting lists etc). 7.Respect current industrial standards applicable for the project and work, in accordance to our established quality management system and customer location requirements. 8.Responsible for the technical documentation in accordance to the specification for the project. 9.Execute and coordinate all qualification activities included in the project (pre-FAT, SAT). 10.Perform start-up and commissioning at customer sites. 11.Responsible for complete project sign off. Support customer as technical specialist, and if needed perform field service works. Takes the ownership for key technical expertise and knowledge and is responsible for providing technical input in critical questions to the other team members, while acting as a coach/trainer and making sure the organization can benefit from the expertise thru trainings and advices. Performs other related activities as required by the Management. Understands and complies with all company quality, safety policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety literature, using the required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping.

Brew Master degree or BSc/MSc in Chemical Engineering with experience in food industry, preferably with fermentation process. Minimum 6 years of experience of process engineering / project management for projects within Food & Beverage industry. •Experience in the design and engineering of process equipment following hygienic or sanitary design. Experience in the design and engineering of process equipment for filtration, separation and purification equipment is a highly desirable. •Experience of working on projects in various cultures. •Ability to share the working experience and expertise with other team members and act as technical expert/coach within the team to develop the organization by coaching others on their daily work and on critical technical questions which require specific knowledge and experience in this field. •Experience of working with outside sub-contractors, including mechanical and electrical contractors, software and automation experts. •Experience in start-up and commissioning activities (FAT/SAT) for process equipment in the Food & Beverage industry. •Direct experience of working in Food & Beverage (Beer, Wine etc) industries would be an advantage. •Languages: English and Spanish are mandatory. Portuguese and French are desirable. •Travel availability to whole Americas. Some travels may require about 3 week of travel in a same month. •Software capabilities with Microsoft Office Package, MS Project, SAP or other ERP Database and Autocad 2D and 3D packages for design.
