The Role

This position is at a management level in the area of maintaining client relationships. It will typically be at the head of a client service team in providing the products and services required by our clients. ensuring the delivery of retention, new from existing and new/new sales targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that roles and responsibilities with respect to client service are understood and clearly communicated to the team, and also that effective communication is maintained with the CRD. Supports the CRD in meetings with clients as required. Maintain direct contact with clients.

  • Implements and maintains compliance systems in accordance with the Willis Excellence Model (WEM).

  • Coordinates the team interaction with Placement and Technical teams.

  • Maintain relationships with Manager- and Director-level personnel (Director-HR, etc.)

  • Support client retention ratio at or above the targeted goal

  • Maintain strong carrier relationships to enhance Willis Towers Watson position in the market place

  • Understand and articulate to clients the Willis Towers Watson Human Capital Benefits (HCB) Value Proposition and Human Capital Benefits (HCB) Products and Services in order to support new business

  • Understand clients’ needs and identify products and services to support needs

The Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Desirable Life & Health license

  • 3 or more years of work related to insurance and/or employee benefits programs as manager

  • Underwriting experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Life (term, permanent, etc.) and disability plans

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal & oral) skills and interpersonal skills
