Honeywell Production Supervisor in Mexicali, Mexico

Oversees day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure that all requirements for safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost controls are met.
Assists in hiring of production employees, on board new hires, plans employee rotation and transition (if applicable); evaluates performance and ensures compliance with plant policies and code of business conduct.
Establish a safe and healthy work environment, where open communications, positive employee relations, creativity, productivity and participation are encouraged and employees are respected, recognized and rewarded.
Verify employee daily attendance records; report and follow up on payroll related issues.
Assess and develops employee using skill matrix tool. Responsible for conducting HS&E, Quality and/or HOS monthly trainings.
Coordinates production plans and implement production schedules, ensure the efficient utilization of plant facilities and manpower, and to meet immediate and future customer requirements.
Checks production order readiness, checks equipment availability and operational status, ensures production processes are carried out, ensures workplace safety and proper management of waste and residual materials. Notifies in time – following escalation process – if any process is deviated or failed from normal standards.
Responsible to escalate safety accident / near miss, perform investigations and complete report within 48 hrs after the event.
Daily accountability of key metrics such as safety, ppm’s, scrap, production plan adherence, OPE, overtime, absences, OEE, etc.
Responsible to manage operational expenses budget.
Effective problem solver thru usage of Root Cause Corrective Action and/or 5 Why Analysis techniques.
Lead and execute 5s activities to maintain the area organized, clean and within plant standards.
Encourage direct reports to participate on continuous improvements activities (kaizen ideas). Responsible of follow up and implementation.
Lead kaizen events aligned to AOP and/or key metrics (SQDCI) improvement.
Writes, reviews, and/or approves documents relevant to process or plant MOS (e.g., ASHT, Standard Operation Sheet (SOS), Standard Combination Sheet (SCS), deviations, etc.)
Responsible for developing, maintaining and auditing related to process SOS and SCS
30 Daily Execution of the Production Plan
30 Actively Monitor Plant Metrics
25 Root Cause Analysis
15 Lead Multidisciplinary teams
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors Degree
- English Level: Intermediate (80%)
- 2 Years Experience
- Reports and Analysis
- Some relevant manufacturing experience
- Efficient with SAP software
- Minitab Knowledge (Preferable)
- Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment
- Conveys information with clarity and directness
- Some relevant leadership experience
- Computer literacy (Office)
- Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
