Job Description

Coordinate activities for the Global Cluster of PEES in the Americas Region and for the corporate support functions NSI/CS &CBS@Suppliers. With respect to PEES, responsible for setting the Regional strategy together with the Global Category Managers, negotiating prices for the American region, as well as maintaining accurate and truthful information on the various purchasing systems. With respect to NSI & CS get excellence level in the New Supplier Introduction, which comply to the total objectives for Continental Automotive. Country Screening/NSI upon request. With respect to CBS Support the Lean Maturity Level improvement of Suppliers in alignment with the Continental Business System (CBS).

PVO Responsibility: 260 Mio EUR 2016 (Forecast 2017 >300 Mio EUR. Responsibility of Direct reports = 5 (located in the Mexico) and one indirect in Brazil.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Engineering degree in any related field.

5-7 years of experience in purchasing/category manager

Availability to travel.

Technical knowledge in manufacturing equipment, software development, purchasing

Crisis management

Excellent negotiation skills

English advanced
