Job Description

EE Module Developer (50%)

Specify and develop EE-Module(s) according to EE-module Design Guideline

Review EE-module within I B&S R&D (EE/SW)

Check and release EE-module conformance with I B&S EE-module Design Guideline

Release EE-module with EE-module lead

Provide EE-module to the I B&S EE-module library incl. full documentation

Support the usage of the EE-module within application projects (design in)

Collect feedback from EE-Module users about potential improvements (changes)

Decide on adaptation which might be needed (CCB)

EE- Excellence (50%):

Continuous improvement of the processes used for Electrical Engineering (EE)

Regular screening of the needed process improvements / needs

Planning and prioritization of the Change Requests

Definition / Extension of EE-processes/methods needed to fulfill customer requirements and be compliant with existing norms as e.g. Automotive SPICE, ITAF16949 and internal standards

Development of cross-discipline concepts and their implementation in tools

Coaching and training of EE processes / methods / tools

Representation of the BU I B&S in Continental Automotive initiatives

Seamless integration of the EE-processes / methods into the BU process world

Drive decisions w.r.t. EE processes/methods with relevant stake holders

BU I B&S responsible person for the R&D part of the RSM (Risk & Supply Management)

Job Requirements

Your Qualification

Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar studies

At least 4 years working experience in automotive industry or embedded system development

Familiar with EE development and processes

Familiar with EE development tools (e.g. Zuken, Mathcad, ECDM, PSpice, WISE)

Pro-active, self-motivated well organized team player

Good communication and intercultural skills

Language: English at good level

Ability to work in an international, interdisciplinary environment
