Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Administrate Union employees as inspectors and technicians (Payroll, permits, performance, daily activities, Holidays).
Attend daily operations meetings.
Participation in daily investigations of root cause.
Daily presentation of quality metrics to other areas.
Bring solutions to problems in daily activities floor.
Implementation of corrective and preventive actions on the floor.
Responsible for generating real and useful information in systems such as MSD and DRM.
Complaints to supplier and campaigns in floor when necessary.
Responsible for handling non-conforming material, and the physical and digital administration thereof.
Validate which team has the quality equipment I have the equipment 100% calibrated.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
At least 3 additional years of experience in a quality role.
Prior experience in areas of quality assurance such as:
DOE, incoming material control, process control, systems performance, product evaluation, MSA, metrology, automated testing, and software.
Ability to conduct internal and external quality audits to recognize improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to identify and implement effective CA/PA plans Six Sigma training.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CE/UL/CSA).
Ability to apply statistical methods to analysis of engineering problems.
Ability to comprehend technical documentation.
