The Talent Management, Learning and Culture team provides strategic advice and support across all businesses in the Latin America franchise, aiming to maximize organizational performance to meet current and future business objectives. This is achieved by partnering with business and HR leaders to understand the organizational, management and people capabilities required to achieving business objectives, and then developing, connecting and delivering appropriate strategies to ensure the right people, with the right skills, are in the right place at the right time.
The mission of the Talent Management, Learning and Culture team is to develop, engage and retain diverse, vibrant, forward looking and client centric leaders to shape our culture.
This role is responsible for driving, for the various Global Functions and EO&T, a robust and innovative Talent agenda developing people, enhancing leadership effectiveness, and shaping our culture. The Talent, Learning and Culture Advisor will work in close partnership with and support the Latam GF/EO&T HR Advisor, the Regional Global Functions Heads, and the Global Functions Learning and Talent organizations.
Additionally, this role will support the Talent agenda for the Global CCO Community.
The incumbent on this role has full accountability on execution related to the following areas of work for the Global Functions and EO&T:
Talent Management and Diversity
Learning & Development
In order to do so, the Talent, Learning & Culture Advisor, Latam GF/EO&T will receive guidance, support and orientation from the Latam Head of Talent & Diversity, Latam Head of Leadership, and Latam Head of Culture. These subject matter experts and their teams will ensure global consistency, connectivity, product innovation and an exceptional employee experience.
This role will have management responsibility for implementing solutions across 23 counties in Latin America.
1. Talent Management and Diversity
Provides strategic advice to GF/EO&T HRA, Regional Global Functions Heads and EO&T Head on talent planning, development, engagement and retention
Designs and develops strategic initiatives to strengthen succession pipeline
Facilitates talent discussions and brokers talent across businesses and geographies
Drives the Citi global Talent Agenda for GF/EO&T
Identifies key talent to participate in selective corporate forums and development programs
Promotes mobility, diversity and career ownership
Influences decision makers to upgrade critical roles with best talent
Leads the design and execution of a Talent plan aligned to business strategy and priorities
Provides Talent expertise/consultancy to senior business leaders and HR Advisors, focusing on building HR and Management Capabilities.
Leads the Annual Talent Management Process for GF/EO&T
Promotes our diversity agenda by hiring more, promoting more and losing less diverse talent, with a focus on outcomes
2. Performance Management
Promotes a culture of feedback and coaching, creating conditions for honest and meaningful conversations on both performance measures and leadership behaviours.
Leads change management efforts associated with the incorporation of new technologies and process improvement
Drives goal alignment.
Partners with GF/EO&T HRA to identify opportunities and execute plans to enhance individual leaders’ and senior team’s performance
Builds management capability to perform robust and meaningful conversations
Identifies opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness through individual/team coaching/facilitation
3. Learning & Development
Drives global consistency in the delivery of training curriculums, management of vendors, evaluations and metrics, etc.
Regularly interfaces with GF/EO&T HR and Functional Leaders to ensure optimal alignment of Citi Learning activities with business priorities
Represents Latam on Global Functions Learning forums; works closely with Global Functions Learning Head to shape Global Functions learning strategy.
Identifies development needs and provides developmental solutions for different segments in the organization including High Potentials, Senior GF Executives, Incumbents in Critical Roles, People Managers, etc.
Tracks key measures of Learning effectiveness and efficiency and leads corrective actions when needed
Provides strategic direction and leadership to the country teams, promoting innovation and global alignment
Owns the design, planning, and implementation of OD programs
Promotes a Customer Centric, Responsible, and Forward Compatible Culture within GF/EO&T.
Facilitates programs to promote Citi values
Connects local culture change needs with existing global solutions
Applies and expands the use of Design Thinking and Agile methodologies
Executes Senn Delaney and other global culture initiatives in GF/EO&T.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Minimum 10 years experience working with Business/HR Leaders as a Talent partner.
Minimum 10 years experience and demonstrated success as an Executive Coach.
Minimum 10 years experience in managing and rolling out HR/OD/HRD processes.
Degree qualified with postgraduate study or further specialist training in a related field.
Recognized internally and externally as a Talent Management and Learning Subject Matter Expert.
Leverages technology and analytics to support Talent Management outcomes.
Experience in and/or knowledge of the markets in the region.
Proficiency in managing people and leading teams.

This role provides broad exposure to senior business leadership, regional and global HR team. It provides the opportunity to influence and shape the Human Resources strategy in Latam and the global Talent and Learning strategy for Citi.
This position is based in Mexico or South Florida.
