An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager to join our Software Industry Automation Business Unit organization in Paraiso,Tabasco state, Mexico, reporting to the BU region Program Manager.

This professional will join our international team based in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Mexico) focused indelivering System Platform projects, Advanced Applications projects, MES projects, and other Consulting Services. This professional will be dedicated toSoftware Delivery Projects in the region, who will work together with the existing Software Delivery Teams to help the Latin Americaregion achieving the expected targets; monitor projects during all stages, keeping in track the original budget and pursuingany scope change to assure the customer satisfaction; development of project execution according milestones agreedwith our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Will work as local liaison with Global Practices, disseminating and applying specific standards and methodologies, fromproposal/contract definition to technical/administrative project closeout.

  • Will manages the delivery of major multi-party projects with significant scope and complexity. Projects are typically multinational & multilingual.

  • Conducts monthly project reviews to ensure financial and customer satisfaction targets are met.

  • Identify, assess and resolve unique business, commercial, and technical risks associated with assigned projects.

  • Responsible for preparation of new order reviews, transfer report analysis, monthly status reports, manpower loadingreports and close-out notices.

  • Establishes project schedule and cost budgets and is responsible for all financial activity associated with the project.

  • Where discrepancies exist, the project manager communicates this to the Program Management for resolution.

  • Responsible for initiating and follow up through on all invoicing process.

  • Meet the requirements of scope of work and any special requirement of any project.

  • Plan & Manage every requirements according our scope of work (financial, human resources, materials).

  • Manage & coordinate customer activities with internal departments to assure the project execution within scope, time,cost and meet quality guidelines.

  • Compliance with progress reports of externals/internals projects.

  • Review and analysis of financial deviations of projects.

  • Report and authorize weekly hours worked daily in SAP of any technical engineers working on the projectimplementation.

  • Develop, implement and communicate to staff involved in any projects assigned, a strategic plan for internal and externalsecurity plan aligned with our clients and our standards of EHS.

  • Know & implement our policy and objectives of quality, safety and occupational health.

Skills:

  • The ideal Project Manager (PM) should have following skills and others that we will ask during interview process.

  • The ideal candidate should have a degree in Control, Automation, Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or

an equivalent educational background).

  • He/She have to prove that they have been involved on project automation as a

technical leader during programming or testing or commissioning or startup of automation projects. And should ideallyhave a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the automation industry –DCS & Control software.

  • PMI certificate as a Project Manager is a plus.

  • Besides we expected a good written and spoken English as well as a team and customer oriented personality, able toaddressed some level of stress during project execution.
