MX.Sales.Field Sales..Key Account Senior Manager
Build distribution expansion and business development plans to facilitate the growth of the brand as well as develop and achieve the agreed wholesale targets for the business.
You will be the lead commercial contact with the retailer groups and the Brand. You will work in closest and collaborative partnership with the brands’ National Sell Through team, and the Marketing team to identify and agree the “retail to net” building blocks of the business to deliver the plan current and future.
You will develop Long Range Planning together with finance and Brand Manager, FY net sales plans to deliver the 5-year strategic goals.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Develop and execute dynamic strategic business and expansion plans to deliver wholesale and retail targets.
Build a strong relationship and work with the buying team of major store groups to represent the brands’ interest.
o To ensure excellent service level to accounts consistently. Develop a strong network amongst a range of departments within your accounts business, in order to leverage opportunities across the store groups.
o To ensure and agree to adequate par levels for each store within major store groups.
Pro-actively seek opportunities and address challenges in a timely manner with each brand and each retailers
Overall responsibility to drive profitability and returns targets
Create presentations/pitches to accounts, with Marketing.
Work in conjunction with our field based store team to deliver dynamic wholesale and retail results
Hold regular store visits to understand commercial and retail environment and to seek feedback on challenges and successes, to build into future planning.
Identify distribution opportunities and work with retailers to secure accordingly
Work with marketing to develop top door programmes that give rank and profitable share with in key doors.
Set up wholesale and retail analysis tools to pilot the business strategically and effectively.
LRP and Fiscal Year Planning:
Experience in a key account management role.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Excellent knowledge of managing data, analysing and interpreting for decision making, reporting and presentations.
Strong Microsoft and database knowledge.
Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to effectively prioritise to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and the ability to negotiate and influence.
Strong relationship management ability.
Passion for and ideally knowledge of the beauty or luxury industry.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will be results driven with a challenger mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
Deep understanding of retailer dynamics (e.g., account dynamics and competitors’ actions) and local market nuances (i.e., localization needs) to identify where to play, how to win, white space opportunities and competitive threats
