A Patch Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patching events between the business and operations teams and needs to coordinate a variety of complex tasks under minimal supervision. They need to have an advanced knowledge of Excel for updating and maintaining the schedule tracking database. An advanced knowledge of Outlook is also required as the majority of the requests and updates from the customer is obtained through email, sometimes thousand a week. Due to the high volume of inputs and outputs, the Patching Coordinator must have good organizational skills. This job is customer facing and requires a professional attitude to represent Atos in a positive manner. They Maintain detailed knowledge of the customer’s operations and organizational structure. A basic knowledge of Windows operating systems is required and a basic understanding of Unix/Linux is also desirable.
Many of the devices require knowledge of server computing in order to properly schedule. A basic knowledge in the technologies of the coordination effort is required in order to better communicate with the operations teams:
