IT Project Group Manager

Job Purpose:

The CRS & CIS Portfolio Manager assures the proper execution of the activities/responsibilities of the area; focusing on Demand Management, Financial Transparency and Service Monitoring based on the CTI Global Operating Model; as well as proper Program and Portfolio Management under global PM organization standards.

This positon entails responsibility for every infrastructure request that impacts CIS & CRS Sectors and must establish trust relationships with their Senior Leadership Teams to respond properly to their demand. Client interaction, effective stakeholder management, reporting and escalating risks and issues are part of the individual’s daily responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the assigned Portfolio management to deliver infrastructure technology, partnering in a multifunctional environment to ensure on time and on budget execution of projects, main relationships are with: CATE, Technology teams, Procurement, Legal and CTI support areas, on a local, regional and global level.


CTI Mexico is responsible to provide best in class infrastructure services and support for Mexico Business Lines and approximate of 50,000 CTI Customers (Including GCB, ICG and Enterprise O&T).

The CTI Project and Program Management team(PPM) provides project and program management services across CTI to ensure business technology projects are executed successfully, meet business requirements, and are delivered on-time and on-budge


·Manage CRS & CIS Sectors demand, reviewing it periodically and guaranteeing the latest version is aligned to the business needs, budget and priorities.

·Ensure execution and deliver CRS & CIS infrastructure projects and programs

·Verify that the proposed project and program schedules and plans by CIS & CRS project leaders satisfy stakeholders needs.

·Ensure that teams under this portfolio timely fulfil projects requirements, taking the necessary decisions in case of a deviation.

·Manage regular Stakeholder communications including status reporting

·Proactive risk mitigation and change management awareness

·Issue management and escalation

·In terms of Financial Transparency, is responsible for Forecasting/Savings and Customer View.

·Interact with Business Technology Domain Heads to define and implement strategies based on business needs.

·Engagement and hand off to CTI Support areas prior implementation.

·Ensure that CRS & CIS project leaders financial estimations guarantee an adequate CTI funding for the upcoming year.

CRS project portfolio values in approximately 11 MM USD P&L, and CIS project portfolio valued approximately 13.5 MM USD P&L


·Leadership of complex initiatives that require coordination and interaction with cross functional / multi-country teams inside and outside the CTI organization

·Regular negotiation with CTI global and local heads.

·Coordination of multiple teams dedicated to different work streams, resulting in efficiency and better planning skills.

·Responsibility for directly managing a team of +15 people, therefore enhance soft skills through an adequate leadership, priorities definition and delegation of responsibilities.

Portfolio Financial forecasting and savings responsibility

·B.S. /B.A. in Technology, Electronics, Systems or similar is desirable.

·English and Spanish professional proficiency

·8+ years of experience in IT management

·PMI 3 Years Knowledge. PMI Certificate is not necessary but is a plus

·5 years of experience in team management

·Curses in different topics of IT administration, like processes and practical improvements are desirable.

·Experience in the Financial Industry is highly valued but not determinant on the candidate selection
