IT Function Head
The Head Retail Bank, Wealth and Mortgage role is based in Mexico City and will be responsible for driving strategy with accountability for alignment, execution, and management with the Retail, Wealth and Mortgage business. This role requires proactively identifying and implementing actions that ensure initiatives are delivered at a high quality, on time and on budget. This implies that this role is accountable for orchestrating a consistent transformation across business, technology, operations and channels
This position is reporting into the Head of Mexico Technology.
• Ensure delivery of required product capabilities on schedule with quality leveraging Citi delivery methodology
Drive process standardization with consistent measures of progress, quality, benefits across all teams to continue our drive towards a client centric organization creating product model principles
Define and mobilize proper governance to evaluate, approve, prioritize and track transformational initiatives
Ensure rigor in planning with regards and not limited to resourcing, testing, budget, critical path identification and risks
·Accountable of Business relationship management with internal customers, balance demand and investment.
·Owner and accountable for Improve timeliness in decision making across teams and escalate potential roadblocks, including developing a forward looking view of critical interdependencies and critical risks, identifying mitigation actions and identifying issues to escalate for Senior Management decision making
· Continue to leverage and ensure alignment with the Cross Product Architecture, Testing and Integration groups
· Improve our interaction model and provide greater clarity and accountability between project teams
Bachelor in any related technological or economics administratives careers, but experience is more important
Minimum 10+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation Programs at multinational financial institutions, preferably banks, with Retail, Wealth and Mortgage expertise.
Solid IT business management (planning, organization, finance, human resources, etc.), including business and multiple vendors
Excellent organization skills; must be able to manage disparate tasks, project plans and ad-hoc teams without solid lines of authority.
Demonstrated, hand-on knowledge and experience in Project Management principles, practices, methodology and tool sets.
Manage the identification of risks and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary
Strong Leadership, Communication, organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive cultural change
Demonstrated track record and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization and geographies
Great at talent and performance management, coaching as well as being a diversity champion.
