Regulatory reporting function is responsible for the fulfillment and timely submission of regulatory reports to the different Regulatory Authorities. Through the Local Regulatory Reporting Committee serving as the main point of escalation and issue resolution defining a common governance and accountability framework, to include roles and responsibilities of the key stakeholders managing or involved in regulatory reporting processes providing reasonable assurance for compliance with the GRR Policy.

Key Responsibilities

1.Coordinate Local Regulatory Reporting Committee and follow up on the issues generated.

2.Produce metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status, maintain and enhance related regulatory reporting procedures

3.Manage and coordinate the regulatory reporting responsible to comply with Global Regulatory Reporting Policy.

4.Coordinate and report information of Local Regulatory Reporting Committee to other Committees (BRCC, CCC)

5.Deep involvement in new system / process implementations related to Regulatory reporting requirements.

6.Preparation of the quarterly information published on the internet according to the regulation in force (CNBV).

7.Provide support to Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries, FED requirements). Improve Internal Audit Scorecard. - No issues with Regulators, Internal or External Audit.

8.Ensure to comply with timely submissions of the regulatory reports to the different authorities

9.Complete additionally any other tasks in connection with the role charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or functional head.



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related areas. Master's is preferred.

  • 5-8 yrs. of experience, Experience in Accounting, Controllership or Finance.

  • Experience in Financial Institution

  • 2-5 years, Managing and overseeing staff

  • Legal vehicle management and accounting rules.

  • Accounting, Financial Statements, Regulatory Reports, Mexican Banking Regulation, among others.

  • Mexican Accounting Rules (National Banking and Securities Commission Accounting Rules), Banking Regulation (Circular Unica de Bancos). The role requires knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS” and also USGAAP


  • Communication skills and ability to negotiate and effective decisions-making. Orientations to results and teamwork.

  • Ability to react to regulatory changes. Be able to adopt changes, communicate and coordinate to different participants involved.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Spanish and English advanced.
