Business Analysis Sr. Manager

  • Act as an end to end solution provider for E-Delivery rearchitecture and Mobile Lite. This will include acquisition, servicing, legal/regulatory requirements

  • Define standards and integration patterns to integrate with Next gen and legacy applications.

  • Gather requirements, groom user stories and define solutions to ensure seamless integration across the entire bank while aligning the solution with compliance and controls, architectural standards, resiliency and customer experience as primary pillars for delivery.

  • Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.

  • Primary liaison/partner with business, scrum teams, Testing, Business/Operations, Architecture and Other execution streams such as vendors, technology development/modernization and Dev Ops. Understand strategy as well as tactical needs. Jointly with business and product owners set priority. Influence requirements to avoid unnecessary testing and integrations

  • Perform evaluation of business processes and system process

  • Develop innovative solutions focused on improving customer experience, reducing cost and accelerating time to market while being fully compliant with risk, compliance and regulatory policies of Banamex and Citi.

  • Integrate Legacy technologies with Next Generation technologies to help in modernizing incrementally

  • Perform System Impact analysis based on user stories and provide a T-Shirt sizing of effort for impacted apps

  • Plan, conduct and manage assignments involving cross functional programs

  • Applies an understanding of the principles of application development

  • Applies functional knowledge of products such as credit cards, Checking, Loans, Savings and insurance to advise meaningful requirements

  • Drives hosting solutions that are next gen compliant

  • Drive adoption of API/Micro Service/Next Gen Framework and standards in solutions without duplication of effort

  • Use JIRA to track cross stream dependencies and provide MIS on progress

  • Colloborate with CTO/Architecture team to define the design charter

  • Support across multiple time zones and geographies working with vendors, Citi and Banamex staff

  • Bachelor´s degree in any technoloy career


  • Senior level experience (Minimum 8 years) in Application Design and Development

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.

  • Possess strong understanding of consumer bank domain – Credit Cards, Checking, Savings & Loans

  • Understand the customer experience and competitive advantages of products

  • Knowledge of JIRA, Selenium is a plus

  • English – Professionally proficient 80%. Spanish 100% Technical knowledge of Cloud, APIs, Java, Micro services, databases, mobile and web app development Banking knowledge is a plus Micro services and APIs Able to communicate effectively with globally disperse teams in English and with local teams in Spanish/English Able to analyze problems and provide alternate creative options quickly Ability to negotiate and compromise solutions.
