Alcatel-Lucent Applications Subject Matter Expert in Mexico



  • Hosted in Applications & Analytics / Global Services Center / Delivery Competence Center, our team is in charge to deploy the products of SDP portfolio. You will be on-board our team as Integration Professional (IP) of Applications products (MRF, SMSC, BMC, VitalQIP). The Applications products (MRF, SMSC, BMC, VitalQIP) are integrated in Nokia IMS Core network for LTE or VoWifi environment. You will be responsible of the product attached services of the Application Products which can be deployed in bare metal or Cloudband solution. You will be recognized as expert on Application Products and you will act as Subject Matter Expert within various customer projects.


  • Work with customers, supplier and Nokia teams, to provide support and recommendations for Application Products project implementation covering greenfield installation, upgrade, extension or migration, perform low level design and Vertical integration, and provide related documentation according to project scope and Nokia commitments

  • Support E2E integrator (Either Nokia or the customer) during horizontal integration

  • Perform troubleshooting of any product issues detected during vertical and horizontal integration

  • In relation with the practice and the PU, carry out the professional services readiness ensuring easy and smooth customer project executions

  • Apply standard design, integration and testing processes according to quality policy

  • Ensure specialized tendering support in case of specific Application Products implementation covering costs estimation, strategy definition

  • Ensure a reliable and accurate reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design the Application Products into the network and IT systems in line with the specifications: provides and collect all needed data

  • Perform Application Products installation, configuration, integration and tests and maintaining the consistency of the Application Products over the whole project cycle,

  • Ensure technical support of change management and assess the impacts

  • Along the project lifecycle, provides initial analysis for the defects, tracks these defects and verifies their resolution,

  • Manage technical relationships with back-office team and PU support team to integrate the Application Products,

  • Apply detailed design methodologies, best practices and processes to ensure deliverables quality.

  • Maintain and develops technical relationship with the customer team to gain trust

  • Telecom knowledges on IMS core

  • Based on telecom forming, you typically have primary development experience and operations background on the telecommunication market, covering network and applications layers.

  • Fluency in English is required

  • Mobility for business trips
