What you’ll do?

*Off-site responsibility as the AMES Unit Coordinator for our Coffeyville, Kansas facility.

*Coordinate major database and infrastructure changes related to AMES.

*Assure AMES data integrity through the proper approval and manual updates requested by business partners and other IT groups (Server upgrades and Patching).

*Serve as liaison between AMES CoE (center of excellence) and Global SAP for AMES issues/projects related to AMES core functionalities.

*Manage the security access for application and OPC servers as well as ensure the proper configuration of the OPC, SCADA and Terminal server.

*Responsible for administration and Support for OPC Application Servers (Kepware).

*Act as AMES liaison for complex peripheral systems and devices interacting with AMES and OPC like ECU programmers, test cells, leak test, MAS Makino, AVL, Serial Plates, stamp marking for machining lines, etc.

*Execute AMES integrations into serialized factory devices and machining centers.

*Work closely with business partners and PLC designers to assure the proper integration aligned to IT guidelines.

*Develop and leverage project management skills on small to medium sized projects ensuring project plan, resource availability, and tasks are met while adhering to the approved system development methodology.

*Work with the Global IT Manufacturing Execution team in implementing new or upgrading existing instances for AMES and other critical shop floor applications at factories around the world.

*On call support to AMES issues affecting shop floor.

*Be part and participate actively on the AMES Forum leading by BPI group.

What it takes?

*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.

*An excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment.

*Solid English language skills, both written and verbal.

*Business Process Knowledge of how AMES is implemented and supports the factory processes.

*Very good understanding of manufacturing areas (Assembly, Welding, Machining, etc.).

*Technical knowledge in SQL and MES Apps.

*Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

*Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, infrastructure capabilities and constraints, and full life-cycle development.

*Experience with applications, computing and networking.

*Information technology experience and/or business experience.

DESIRED:

*Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.

*Understanding of SAP Business Objects.

*The desire / ability to engage and foster team work in a global team environment.

*The ability to analyze rigorously.
