Responsible for developing, gathering, analyzing, and managing information to drive business decisions and operational excellence with supporting data-driven models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Partners with stakeholders to identify/implement opportunities for business process improvement to increase sales effectiveness, manage costs, and drive high customer/partner satisfaction. Leads and works with cross-functional teams, creates and implements plans that enable the execution of business strategies. Partners cross-functionally to develop, track and manage business metrics for the organization. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.


  • Provide operational, process, and data expertise to project team, sales support teams, and leadership to drive strategies and direction.

  • Works independently to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.

  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.

  • Provide insight in the development of operational excellence processes across a complete sales cycle to meet service level objectives and targets.

  • Find and use appropriate customer and sales data within the company to produce reports and insights for customer and business decisions.

  • Work with metric owners across Sales Operation Towers to define key performance indicators (KPIs). Coordinate with process managers to develop metrics for improvement.

  • Conduct operational performance reviews with senior leadership, and managing the execution of agreed improvement plans.

  • Implement development/improvement of processes and capabilities.

  • Collaborates with regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance current business processes.

  • Make sure monitoring tools are in place to gather data.

  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

  • Provide guidance on procedures to support overall sales operations policies and goals.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, includes verbal, written and presentation forms. Mastery in English required.

  • Mastery of Excel

  • Presentation and PowerPoint skills to create insights, tell a story, and influence leaders

  • Basic development experience in Qlikview, Qliksense, Power BI, or another similar reporting tool

  • SQL Server - strong SQL writing is desirable

  • Strong analytical, data modeling, insight, and creativity skills to see trends and connect dots where others cannot

  • SharePoint proficiency

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Program management skills

  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

Education and Experience Required

  • Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.
