AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP Oncology Business Unit Director in Tlalpan, Mexico

As an Oncology Business Unit Director, you will be part of the Senior Management Team being a leader to drive AstraZeneca’s sales and operating income growth in Mexico within Oncology therapeutic area.
Also, you will develop Oncology Strategy for Mexico to reach aspiration, matching short-term plans with long-term objectives, in full alignment with marketing, sales and diagnostic strategies.
You will ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded and the operational budgets are managed within the Oncology area at a country level through ensuring brand strategies lead to optimized oncology sales.
Part of this role is to establish, develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external customers as appropriate as well as instill a strong customer service and high performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement, so that you must have excellent interpersonal skills to influence those customers. You will thrive in a team-oriented environment, with collaborative approach to getting things done.
Finally, within your main responsibilities you will manage direct reports and identifies skill development opportunities for them with appropriate succession planning
7+ years of direct experience defining and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
4+ years of experience within Oncology therapeutic area.
Demonstrable track record of creating innovative/breakthrough business/market strategies and plans in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other related industry.
7+ years of strategic project leadership experience.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics or Finance).
Fluent written and verbal English.
Master Degree (MBA)
