We are currently looking for a General Manager / Vice President responsible for leadership and management. The VP/GM is responsible for the cost effective and timely delivery of quality parts and ensuring Company safety standards are met. This position will report to the Division CEO.

Job description

Job duties:

• Responsible for the layout and set up the facility

• Evaluate and manage staffing needs

• Establish operating methods for cost controls

• Support the Company's Master plan and follow Lean organizational concepts

• Manage equipment installation

• Harmonize a BU direct numerical control (DNC) system and implement operating standards which will yield the most cost effective products.

• Responsible for maintaining on-time (OTD), quality delivery (NCR) of the high volume part demands in accordance with the expectations of the Company.

• Manage the logistics and delivery of the products to the BU's and responsible for the logistics department for the Facility.

• Work with management staff to develop annual plans and set long range program goals in accordance with the Company's overall needs

• Prepares and manages the Facility's annual budget

• Coach management team by building their soft skills as well as their technical knowledge and identify the capacity of current personnel



• Language(s): Must be bi-lingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently.

• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in management. Must have experience managing all aspects of a large machining operation(s), either stand alone or an integrated unit of a larger organization. Experience with cost management for a 300-500 person organization.

• Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industry.

• Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Focus on Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.

• Travel: Must be able to travel to other Facilities in the US and Internationally.
