Eaton Corporation Finance Reporting & Analysis Manager in Tijuana, Mexico
Prepare monthly actuals and rolling forecast financial reports and supporting commentary for financial results and variances to Profit Plan, Forecast and Prior Periods (e.g. Aerospace Financial Package)
Report financial activity to Tijuana plant product line managers, engineering managers and functional heads to support development of product line processes, controls and measurement of the product line programs and key business customer contacts.
Lead analysis and communication of financial performance of product lines to Division/Aerospace leadership. Focus on performance to goals and identification of opportunities for improvement in results and processes.
Support financial analysis and cost estimations for all new product line business proposals, capital investments, and potential new product development
Prepare and report on annual strategic and profit plans
Participate as a leading member of the Tijuana Finance Team in driving standardized processes and procedures. Recommends improvements and service level growth to the Plant/Campus Controller
Effectively manage due dates and organize resources to comply with deadlines and timely reporting
Develop and implement financial management processes on programs/product lines to assure control – benchmark and incorporate best practices across Aerospace
Manage and administer Eaton personnel policies for Financial Reporting & Analysis team members, including the selection and hiring of personnel, performance appraisals, salary reviews, and providing direction and on-the-job training to team members.
Support annual certification for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Support local government accounting standards and regulations compliance – Mexico, US and Global requirements.
Develop and enhance financial reports in support of business needs.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Business
CPA/MBA a plus
Minimum of five years of experience in financial management in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and understanding of corporate, division, and plant reporting policies and key measurements
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Strong technical expertise (US GAAP/IAS/Mexican Statutory) in accounting and finance, specifically in application to commercial/government development and production contracts
Experience in product line accounting
Proven success in leading teams and managing multiple projects
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills – ability to establish and work cross functional relationships
Proven leadership and possession of problem solving and analytical skills.
