Description

Position Purpose

This position supervise shared FRM activities in the sub region including the preparation of Commodity and FX reports, Coordination of Insurance processes and the support of credit activities such as collateral documentation and Certificate of deposit administration.

Principal Accountabilities

1) 30% -Commodity Position Reporting:

  • Produce consistently and periodically commodity position reports needed to perform the position reconciliation.

  • Periodically, audit the system data to ensure accuracy.

  • If applicable, calculate and report stress test and/or P&L Flag. Parther with trading teams in the daily/weekly trading P&L determination.

  • Determine and report information requested by local or international authorities related to Derivatives Compliance matters.

2) 30% -FX Exposure Reporting:

  • According to each business standard, periodically caculate and report the FX exposure for further analysis and discusssions.

  • Once a month, calculate the month-end exposure and reconcile vs the exposure reported on the last day of the month.

  • Validate or determine the estimate of FX P&L and partner with accounting in its reconciliation against the accounting books.

  • Request, where applicable, spot or forward orders to hedge FX positions according to the risk management strategy established by the businesses.

3) 30% -Counterparty MTM Exposure Reporting:

  • Periodically calculate and report the Mark to Market exposures with counterparty.

  • Produce follow-up reports for contract with past due deliveries. Determine if contracts in past due are still valide and report any issues for further legal and commercial actions.

4) 10% -Other Risk Reporting Activities:

  • Calculate and report any other information needed by the business to monitor trading risks suchs as positions related to specific Price Risk Solutions, monitoring of options with Aserca, reporting of prices for estimates, etc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 1 years of accounting and/or commodity risk management experience

  • Self starter with a curious and inquisitive mind with proven ability to challenge and influence changes

  • Strong financial analysis skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with many functional groups and levels – both written and orally.

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects effectively.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to internal controls.

  • English proficiency

Preferred

  • Experience in multiple ERPs (SAP, JDE, One World, Lynx)
