Job Description

Overview:

The Customer Logistics Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the flow of information and material transfer towards the customer and external supply centers. Besides an explicit orientation to customer requirements the Customer Logistics Employee has to check plausibility of customer demands and take into account a cost­effective use of resources and cost­optimized processes. Receive and follow up the customer requirements, through their specific portal and EDI, communicate the demands to the production planning in order to ensure the delivery according to the customer´s requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

Analyze customer requirements (SAP & Portals)

Ensure the availably and veracity of customer information into SAP (R3 and APO)

To have a high level of communication with the Customer (Increases, New Part Numbers, Release analysis etc.)

Daily Follow­up of the Customer Shipments in coordination with the Shipping Warehouse.

Daily Follow­up of the Customer Requirements in coordination with the Production Planner

Control of Inventory in Local and External Warehouses.

Production capacities, stock levels, production backlogs, delivery backlogs, procurement situations.

Ensure the availably of the product according customer requirements

Actively contributing to cooperating with all others involved and with interface partners and forwarding all relevant information in order to keep themselves and others informed and create and optimum logistics chain.

Additional Responsibilities:

Follow up to the Customer Portals. ( Bulletins, Shortage Tickets, Logistics Claims, Premium Freights, etc)

Required:

International Trade or Industrial Engineering.

Three years of experience in position at logistics in the Automotive Industry.

SAP Knowledge

Fluent English
