Job Summary

AECOM company is seeking a Construction operation Manager to be based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico location for a 12 month period to support a field construction project for the automotive industry. The work is expected to begin in Nov 2016.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Site Coordination and Reporting activities associated with the project

  • Responsible to deliver the project to the agreed schedule with the client

  • Overseeing the delivery of the project on site to ensure that it is completed safely, on schedule, within the budget and of the highest quality

  • Take active role in resolving key issues that are affecting the delivery of the project

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management

  • 10+ years of experience in General Construction

  • Strong Architectural or Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background

  • Knowledge of Construction Management

  • Construction experience in forming, rebar installation and pouring of concrete, structures

  • Knowledge of Structural framing assemblies

  • Knowledge of Architectural assemblies

  • Able to efficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel, and standard features of Outlook email

  • Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position such as AutoCAD

  • Fluency in English

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction experience in forming, rebar installation and pouring of concrete, structures

  • Automotive experience preferred
