A key component of John Deere is the product support team. Members of the team provide technical assistance to John Deere dealers through the Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC) hotline. The work is challenging, fast–paced and very fulfilling. Product support professionals work with every area of the company, including engineering, service parts, manufacturing, marketing, the branch organization, dealers and customers. Through exposure to all facets of our business, professionals can identify other areas of the company that may serve as a future career path.
What you’ll do?
*Provide worldwide technical support for customer tractors and loaders through dealer networks and Branch organizations via the DTAC (Dealer Technical Assistance Center) system.
*Work with Engineering and Manufacturing on customer needs and experiences with our products as part of the Problem resolution Process.
*Assistance in answering questions concerning product configuration and functionality of our products and systems.
*Close collaboration with colleagues at the own site as well as colleagues in foreign countries with different cultural sensitivities.
*Support of the product development process.
What it takes?
*Ability to influence without authority through effective relationship building Knowledge's, about hydraulic, electrical, electronic, transmissions and diesel engines.
*Required high capacity to write and communicate verbally in English and Spanish language.
*Experience with the application of computers and computing-systems (e.g. MS-Office) Solution-orientated way of action.
*University degree in mechanics, agriculture or agricultural engineering or equivalent.
*Additional language skills will be beneficial.
*Experience with the agricultural business and/or dealer net organization would be beneficial.
