What you will do?* Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.

  • Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and / or new parts or programs of limited scope.

  • Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope. * Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.

  • Develops and implements plans to support lean manufacturing through the Deere Production System of limited scope. Designs operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation.

  • Participates in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity and efficiency.

  • Implements new manufacturing processes and technology.

What you’ll take?

Assembly Standards Line Design (Good Understanding) BOM configuration and management. IE Basics. Hydraulic & Electrical Standards. Shop floor Execution. SAP (MES, PP , PDM ) Proficient. Data management Root cause Analysis. English proficient level.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, production, methods, reliability, design, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, quality. - Less than 1 year

  • Experience in Project management and business planning. - Small strategic projects or larger tactical projects with medium complexity

  • Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases. - Less than 1 year

  • Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools. - Less than 1 year

  • At least 1 yr of experience in: SAP Management Assembly line design.

  • Manufacturing Process Implementation

  • Mechanical Engineer degree Mechanical Electrical Engineer degree

  • Working knowledge of database management tools, the various loan accounting systems, and process management systems. - Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.

  • Background in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, power systems, etc.). - Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.

  • Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools. - Has a general understanding of the principles and uses the knowledge with assistance.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

  • Understands the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP). - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

  • Mechanical Engineer degree Mechanical Electrical Engineer degree
