Mondelez International is looking for Maintenance Plan & Schedule Coordinator

  • The function of the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator is to plan and schedule all maintenance activities for the assigned lines and/or plant infrastructure. Through proper planning and schedule resources are optimized and efficiently programmed. The position will work closely with High Performance Work teams (HPWT) of all areas. He (she) is an important member of the Progressive Maintenance Pillar since the position will work collaborate with the teams maintenance needs. The position assures that maintenance resources (personnel, materials and equipment availability) are available for proper maintenance execution. When external resources are required (vendors, suppliers, etc.) the position will assure that these are available on time.

  • The position will continuously determine work prioritization to assure that work related to safety, quality and performance are attended to in correct fashion.

  • By assuring proper maintenance planning and scheduling the facility will execute equipment maintenance tasks and will this way drive to 0 losses due to equipment performance and high maintenance downtime.

  • Assure that Maintenance activities are planned considering that all resource become available during maintenance execution.

  • Assures that technician workloads are balanced among all.

  • Works closely with HPWT in assuring that members input is considered for proper planning.

  • Provides continues feedback to Maintenance Engineers to assure tasks are correctly structured and provided with sufficient information for planning.

  • Teams are always supported to achieve Best in Class MTBF and MTTR results through proper work planning.

  • Assures all master data for maintenance planning in SAP PM is kept up-to-date.

  • Supports E&T pillar in determining the required skill sets needed to properly execute maintenance tasks.

  • Maintains proper communication through involved parties for activity scheduling.

  • Will involve production planning stakeholders in order to assure equipment availability for maintenance.

  • Will drive for high efficiency maintenance execution to increase equipment availability.

  • Assures KAI’s are kept within target: % maintenance activity compliance, % on time order execution, and % of resolved maintenance tags, etc.

  • Assures AM Pillar requirements are properly scheduled. Integrates PM and AM activities as much as possible.

  • Works closely with spare parts warehouse operations to have parts for maintenance activities. Including kitting of parts.

  • Continuously provides AM and PM pillar support in order to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.

  • Trains personnel on the importance of planning and scheduling of activities.

  • Works with PM and AM pillar members in integrating PM activities in AM tasks.

  • Continuously communicates with the complete organization of maintenance requirements of lines and utilities.

  • Regularly assists maintenance engineers with RCA when needed or when the issue relates to proper planning/scheduling.

  • Works with spare parts to drive to lower inventory levels.

Education required:

  • University level education or technician with demonstrated experience in similar responsibility levels. Fields can include but not limited to: Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, and Mechatronics.

Experience required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance supervision and/or planning in manufacturing environments.

  • Desirable experience in food industry.

  • Desirable experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) environments.

  • Experience in SAP PM required


  • Knowledge in maintenance planning processes.

  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as MAXIMO, etc.

  • Knowledge of typical industrial maintenance activities execution time and resources required.

  • Intermediate - Advanced English (for vendor contacting)

  • Team player
