Eaton Corporation Lean Manufacturing Coordinator in Reynosa, Mexico

Change agent plant wide, executes and deploys the Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) initiatives. Coordinate the Kaizen Events in the site as well as the continuous improvement framework (CIF). Guides the team thru the Operation Assessment (OpA) and generate the information to be deployed in the plant for the Eaton Business System (EBS).

A. Implements the lean tools in the site such as (Value Stream Map, 5S’s, Set Up reduction, Cost Outs, Error Proofing, Pull System, Standard Work (Shop and Office Processes), Total Productive Maintenance, Lead Kaizen Events, etc.)

B. Drives the Cost Out initiative in the site, coordinate with owners advances or in case of delay, find ways to mitigate cost out gaps.

C. Champions the ideas programs from the Promotion, Evaluation and facilitate the Execution of the ideas program as well as the recognition to the submitters.

D. Periodically review the Plant Value Stream Map with leadership team.

E. Performs and coordinates the Kaizen Events from the VSM output to maintain the lean tracker to select quarterly the best Kaizen in the plant.

F. Maintains the Lean council at the plant from the meetings and gathers teams, get results from the people is part of the council.

G. Champions the 5S’s internal Audits program.

H. Keeps the site informed thru an annual calendar, about the following Audits/Assessments: 5S, OpA, EBS, etc.;

I. Coordinate the selection of critical equipment and processes plant wide with the Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply Chain Departments accordingly.

J. Participate in the improvements of the key value creation process (KVCP’s) as part of the EBS.

K. Support the MESH Initiatives and Zero accident culture.

L. Support the Eaton Quality Systems as well as any other certifications such as EBE, ISO/TS, etc

Qualifications• Undergraduate degree required in Industrial Engineering (Preferred) or related engineering

• 5 years’ experience in the related matters

• Solid and proven experience in lean manufacturing tools and six sigma methodologies.

• Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.

• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Expert in MS Office /Excel, AutoCAD

• Project Management Skills
