The machining department manager is overall responsible for the performance of the department, in detail for all employees, safety, quality, productivity, technology and costs. In addition, he continually optimizes the technology and department efficiency by developing strategies and goals that go hand in hand with the overall company strategy, build networks beyond the company, and carry out permanent benchmarking with his team.


  • Coordination of the aluminum machining team.

  • Generate an innovative environment to motivate the team members.

  • Provide leadership to the team based on the BRP culture how to lead people.

  • Employee development and succession planning.

  • Responsible for the dept. (cost-center) budget/forecast creation and follow up.

  • Continuous improvement of the dept. processes to optimize existing resources.

  • Achievement of the goals according the department master plan.

  • Present efficiency and quality improvement projects to achieve operational excellence

  • Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the site director.


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering

  • Mechanical, electronic and pneumatic knowledge

  • Combustion engine base knowledge

  • Combustion engine components manufacturing process experience.

  • Min. 5 years experience in machining of aluminum components as a manager.

  • Experience in Start Up Operations of Machining Processes.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality tools

  • Experience in failure analysis


  • Fluent in Spanish written and verbal

  • Excellent level of English, both written and verbal (80%)
