Eaton Corporation Human Resources Supervisor in Queretaro, Mexico

The position will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with all activities related to human resources

to support the Hydraulics Queretaro Plant. Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not

limited to recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations (union, salary and exempts),

job evaluation tracking thru APEX, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development,

training, and special projects. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and

procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Prepares reports in

conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.

Ensures compliance with the requirements by ISO/TS, EBE, OpA, Fresh Eyes Audits, Lean initiatives, 5's, Mexican Labor

Law Compliance (STPS) and other corporate requirements.

  1. Support the deployment of the Eaton culture, policies, vision, goals, values, ethics, initiatives and leadership model to

  1. Comply with the Union Collective Bargain and the deployment of the Internal Rules Guidelines as well as the

administration of the benefits.

  1. Ensure the correct management of the employee relations matters at all levels.

  2. Responsible for the weekly HR entries for payroll processing including timely entry of employee different supervisor,

shift or department changes as well as all different payroll forms like absences, bonus payments etc. Ensure that

information is reliable to ensure that all employees receive their correct salaries on time. Ensures that the payroll is

processed with real information obtained from different areas

  1. Maintains and updates constantly the employee pertinent information in HRMS and Local System. Audits information in

both systems regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness Gives immediate service with positive and proactive attitude

to all departments in relation to its personnel needs to contribute to achieve production goals.

  1. Execute the hiring plan according to the requirements of quantity, time, shift and abilities that the departments require.

  2. Maintains the employees files with the legal identification requirements as birth certificate, school certificates,

employment contract, IMSS, etc.

  1. Prepares and sends all the appropriate reports to the Social Security (IMSS) in the acceptable time limits established

  2. Prepares and reviews department information and reports such as headcount, absenteeism and terminations that are

accurate, precise and timely.

  1. Participates actively in the TS 16949 Quality System and in ISO 14001, Life Saving Rules as well as in the Personnel

committees that are established.

  1. Coordinates and ensures monthly programs and Plant activities, such as recognitions, anniversaries, monthly

meetings, roundtables, etc., to be carried out timely. Coordinates sports and social Plant activities.Qualifications- Bachelor degree in employee relations, business administration, Psychology or similar

  • 5+ years of experience as HR Supervisor In the manufacturing Industry (Maquila)

  • Strong experience in Talent Acquisition Processes.

  • Deep knowledge of Mexican Labour law and Labour relations matters (Union/Salary)

  • Strong experience in Compensation and Benefits (Payroll thru TRESS System, IMSS, Taxes, Medical/Life Insurance,

Pension, etc)

  • Good management of communication programs and employee services.

  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office Programs (Excel – Graphs, databases, etc)

  • Excellent English/Spanish communication skills - must be able to have a conversation at different levels.
