Procurement Team Lead:

Report directly to the GPS Sr. Procurement Supervisor provide a wide variety of support services within GPS, and serve as a liaison for the different business stakeholders for his delegated function. Directly manage a team of professionals, providing support with his experience and couching, identify training opportunities, carrier develop, drive process improvement efforts and performance tracking, define metrics and scorecards for his group, balance workload ensuring proper resource utilization and serve as a POC for escalations, team strategies and HR related topics.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Be the single point of contact between the Local Management and the Business Partners for resolution of process and operational issues and escalations that directly pertain to his functional team and take corrective actions.

•Implement/use HOS principles and Lean Six-Sigma tools as enablers. Work process standardization trough different servicing business and ensure all process are properly documented, followed and fully deployed within the team and extended to stakeholders.

•Ensure that Process Metrics are well defined and ensure each team member has goals aligned to their respective businesses roles and duties. Developing reporting method and MOS/MOR to periodically feedback customer/stakeholders, internal GPS organizational leadership, and all team members.

•Dynamically participate and closely work with the HR team and ensure the hiring process is perform in an expedited mode for new additions, manage attrition with a functional support mindset, ensuring there is cross-training and back up plans for all the team members.

•Conduct the HPD and GCP process as per role for your team members. Ensure quality HPD process and continuous feedback trough 1:1 discussion with employees, gathering first hand feedback from Matrix managers, team peers and business partners.

•Conduct Rewards and Recognition adhering to HON rewards criteria processes and methods, influencing employee motivation and promote the “exceed expectation” culture within the team.

•Able to support and backfill his own staff members in an event of absenteeism, vacation, or retire in a tactical and operational way. Preserving team service level as primary objective and minimizing impact to customer and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Required Experience

•Bachelor degree on engineering is preferable, with master degree on Business (MBA) or related field. Have certified from APICS, ISM, PMI, or formal training on Supply Chain, or procurement.

•8 to 10 years experiences professional on supply chain, procurement or sourcing fields, working with Direct and Indirect materials for an OEM Industrial manufacturer, connected with a global or international organizational environment, preferred for electrical or electronics industries. 5 year experience managing teams of above 10 people at the professional level for the procurement or sourcing operations.

•Excellent communication skills, fluently communicate on English, as role will be required to liaise with Customers / Partners and leaders for the area.

•Experience in dealing with multiple ERPs SAP & Oracle preferable, experience in dealing with web based tools and should be comfortable with working on various reporting tools.

•Lean Six Sigma Oriented and applied for administrative processes. Project Management and process improvement experience. Green Belt or Black belt certification desirable.

•Strong computer skills Ms. Software related, proficient on excel is highly desirable, able to gather disperse data, create statistics analysis, provide sound rational recommendations, and present to external audiences.

•Strong and demonstrated procurement experience for diverse materials type commodities, fully understanding of the P2P processes and all its intersections with others support areas. Focused on performance and KPI tracking, able to react and timely escalated supply constrains to prevent impacts on delivery or service levels.
