Role Summary:

Responsible to keep a parternership relation with the global vendor to ensure a timely and accurate payroll process, aligned to internal procedures and the local legislations for the Central America and Caribbean countries. Ensure GE Values and compliance in the whole process. Excellence in Service customer.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • •Follow up the whole payroll process for countries in CAC, included but not limited to correct incidences reporting, payroll revisions and approvals, according to the stablished process.

  • •Payroll forecast and funding request

  • •Ensure the timely and accurate payment to employees, taxes, and 3rd parties originated by the payroll process and according to the internal procedures and local legislations keeping an effective control.

  • •Compliance review of the taxes obligations per country and control to payments supports

  • •Labor liabilities control in the applicable countries

  • •Ensure the correct and timely JE registers and support Payroll Accounting process.

  • •To provide the correct and timely payroll information to the businesses

  • •Responsible to follow up the fees invoices for different vendors: Payroll Provider and others related to payroll

  • •Support internal and external audits by providing information and solving queries.

  • •Responsible for GCRM following up (support to employees regarding Payroll and benefits topics)

  • •Support and follow up projects related CAC payroll

  • •Coordinate the year end processes with the vendor

  • •Provide information to prepare periodic metrics

  • •To update the employee files

  • •To support any additional activities to maintain control of CAC processes. Qualifications/Requirements:

  • •University Degree Accounting/ Finance/ Administrator

  • •3 years Accounting, Finance, HR or Payroll. Experience in Shared Services, payroll process.

  • •Excel, Word, Outlook

  • •General payroll knowledge-desirable

  • •Accounting knowledge
