What do you get to do in this position

The Controller is directly responsible to the head of organization/department/entity/factory on all areas of plant finance, including cost control, productivity and project spending.

  1. Develops and conducts cost review meetings with organization leadership teams

  2. Drives the budget and forecast process, reporting to the organization and business line.

  3. Conducts variance analysis against budget and forecast, presenting results to management.

  4. Supports organization leaders and supervisors in project justification, implementation and spending control.

  5. Is the business partner for the plant managers and the management committees regarding all finance and control areas

  6. Conducts the forecasts, anticipates risks and opportunities on a medium term and ensures proper accruals are maintained to cover these risks.

  7. Responsible for the general ledger and the preparation of the company financial reports;

  8. Management and safeguard of company assets (with focus on fixed assets);

  9. Responsible for all kind of tax matters, establish and maintain the business relationship with the tax authorities and optimize the company tax expenditure;

You fit the following Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum 5-10 years of Finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Track record of strong financial leadership with Business Partners

  • Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Proven experience Leading and developing team members

  • Commitment to Internal Controls and providing accurate, Reliable financial reports

  • Position is based in Nashville, TN, USA. Other alternatives could be reviewed.
