Job Description

Support the CBS philosophy and practical implementation by living and establishing the CBS principles and coaching kata in

the respective area of responsibility.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

▪ Support BU/CF Coach in definition of CBS roadmap for respective area of responsibility

▪ Develop own roadmap for own area of responsibility

▪ Define KPIs for measurement of CBS roadmap implementation on local level

▪ Set and monitor objectives and goals for CBS Practitioners in the local organization

▪ Develop, drive and monitor CBS activities according to roadmaps and execute in the respective areas

▪ Mentor CBS Practitioners to support them in executing the improvement routine

▪ Coach local management / create CBS awareness

▪ Identify CBS opportunities within the area of responsibility and in cross­functional areas

▪ Initiate and lead CBS projects

▪ Moderate workshops to ensure common CBS understanding in assigned area of responsibility

▪ Support BU/CF in developing future CBS Practitioners e.g. through training

▪ Apply lean leadership principles

▪ Coach and motivate local management and employees for further CBS implementation

▪ Act as a role model applying improvement routine to support promotion of cultural change

▪ Live and promote the CBS principles and methods

▪ Ensure active involvement in company­wide CBS network

▪ Ensure active participation of area/plant/location in the CBS network communities

▪ Use best practice experience of network, participate and ensure best practice exchange within specialists network

▪ Communicate results and lessons learnt to BU/CF Coach

▪ Actively use CBS network to resolve problems / difficulties

Job Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and experience in implementation of CBS (Principles, framework), deep knowledge of CBS methods in general and of

specialist domain (Admin, SCM or R&D)

Understand and successfully apply improvement routine in area of responsibility

Responsible for 20 successfully conducted CBS projects

Presentation and moderation skills

Lean Leadership (Management skills: knowledge of lean leadership principles (incl. team skills, conflict management), apply

steering tools (best practice, Balanced Scorecard)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree or master degree in Business Administration or Engineering or comparable professional training and experience

Professional experience (at least 5 years)

Experience in relevant business field (Automotive, Tires, CT) and understanding of relevant business environment

Cross functional experience in different functional areas

Experience as a project manager for (lean) projects

First leadership position, preferably in operational units with direct and indirect responsibility for other individuals

Experience in working with international teams
