Bose Account Manager - Regional Centers in Mexico Sales, Mexico

Job Description

Bose Professional Systems, a leading manufacturer of professional sound systems for use in the installed and portable audio market, based in Framingham, Massachusetts, is currently recruiting for a new Account Manager opportunity in Mexico City.

The focus of this role is to attain divisional sales goals within Mexico through the implementation of strategic account management processes and the development of productive long-term business relationships. Calls on customers and provides technical information and / or demonstrates company products. Manages complex accounts. Has an in-depth knowledge of the organizations entire product and service offerings. Reports to Manager, Latin America and Caribbean.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Attain sales goals within Mexico

  • Manage accounts designated as Regional Design Centers

  • Act as mentor to account's staff to develop expertise and confidence in understanding Bose Professional products

  • Implement sales and marketing programs Regional Design Centers

  • Communicate regularly with marketing and technical support staff

  • Perform sales and technical presentations direct to key end-users

  • Help Regional Design Centers to create and present proposals to customers

  • Analyze market potential and identify business opportunities to build and strengthen presence in new and existing markets

  • Execute sales and technical training events

  • Create and manage yearly planning including sales targets, product forecast, marketing programs and expense budget

  • Sourcing and nurturing sound system projects and passing them on to the regional sales distribution channels for implementation as appropriated.

  • Provide internal feedback, both technical and commercial, from customers in the region.

  • Staffing trade show booths where appropriate


  • Energetic, entrepreneurial and strong self-motivated individual accustomed to work autonomously

  • Experience in the professional audio marketplace including contacts with key influencers

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with Bose Professional dealers.

  • Language: written and spoken English and Spanish is a must.

  • Ability to give both technical and sales presentations to any level of attendees

  • Good computer skills, including working knowledge of the MS Office suite (including PowerPoint). Audio modeling software, DSP software and CAD programs desired.

  • Good basic technical audio knowledge.

  • Position requires up to 60% national travel.

  • Ability to work under pressure and be part of a team effort with a myriad of people and cultures

  • Minimum of 8 years of directly related sales experience.

Bachelor's degree required in related discipline.
