Purpose of role:
This position is responsible of the correct applications in SAP over all Treasury transactions. It will also maintain not only excellent relationship with Treasury – Accounting team in Budapest and London, but also with all our relationship banks placed in Mexico.
This role will optimize the Diageo Mexico’s cash flow, including short and long term forecast and a deeply understanding of the processes related with creditors, debtors, stocks and intercompany payments.
Qualifications and responsibilities:
Short and long term cash flow forecast managing ῀100m GBP (cash in hands) for FY18
Increase the supplier financing program penetration
Manage FX exposure, supported by the FX Treasury Team in Budapest
Achieve consistently the Payment to Terms KPI’s
Cash flow: payments, collections, investments, forecast.
Look and implement efficiencies around processes impacting Treasury, T&E and STP
Align different functions involved in cash flow: imports, intercompany, supply, accounts payable, accounts receivable and taxes
Responsible of all Treasury transactions such as: payments, payroll, bank statements, controls, credit cards, checks, cash pooling, among others.
Maintain controls and compliance with all Treasury and related processes
Follow up to all the audit processes
This position will not have direct reports and will report to the Treasury Manager
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Degree on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
Minimum of 3 years in Treasury or Finance with experience in a multinational corporate environment
Advanced strong fluent English Skills
MS Office applications
Strong Excel knowledge
SAP system knowledge is an advantage
Able to lead and implement projects by following well-defined plans
Ability to understand more technical processes and assess effectiveness
Performance achievement focus and good relationship building capabilities
