The Impact You’ll Be Making…

The SAM&C Manager Management role is focused on growing Cloud and Annuity revenue, driving customer satisfaction, and managing all aspects of Microsoft’s SAM and compliance business for their geography. The SAM&C Manager Mgmt key responsibilities include:

• Executing the cross-company SAM & compliance strategy and plans for all customer segments for the geography, with executive leadership support

• Ensuring quality, consistency, and excellence in execution of all SAM & compliance activities through close partnership with the customer segment leads and account teams

• Increasing customer value and enabling a positive experience during every engagement by ensuring deep customer insights are collected, analyzed, and communicated to customers along with cloud services solutions for long term growth

• Building the right SAM partner ecosystem to support the business needs

• Demonstrating industry leadership in SAM

Roughly 55% of the time is focused on leading the execution of the SAM & Compliance plans, with the remaining time spent on a mix of people management, strategy development, data analysis and reporting.

Who we’re looking for…

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

Key Experiences:

Candidates must have 10+ years of practical experience in direct and indirect sales, marketing, communications and/or channel or business development. Five years of management experience strongly preferred, or comparable cross-group responsibilities (e.g. as a Project Manager for significant projects with cross-group impact and membership).


Local language required at discretion of GM.

Education and Knowledge:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.)

Preferred: MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance, Communications, Marketing, or IT and formal training in project management

Required in Year 1 of Role: Internal Azure, O365, and SAM Pitch Perfect completion, plus one of the following professional certifications: IAITAM CSAM, Microsoft MCTS for SAM (exam 70-673), PCSAM (IBSMA), BCS SAM Foundation, BSA SAM Advantage, or ITAMOrg SWAM.
