Specialist, Product Operations
The Debit Management Team is responsible for management of Consumer Debit business, its P&L, portfolio management, and the execution of mass strategy to gain share in the Mexican market.
The Product Senior Coordinator, is responsible for the execution of benefit programs, preference platform implementation and development of new benefits for Debit products.
The Product Senior Coordinator also shepherds the Debit portfolio lifecycle through proactive issuer management.
Provides Cardholder Solutions and Benefits in order to create proposals in order to bring new opportunities to the issuers
Lifecycle Management & Market expert
Serves as Life Cycle Manager for Debit products; monitors product performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle, and makes recommendations in order to solve Debit challenges (mainly card usage at Point of Sale)
Monitor the operation and financial performance of the Debit portfolio against targets.
Analyzes and documents market trends, dynamics, statistics and competition in order to provide product and go-to-market strategies
Helps develop business plans for Debit products, for example new opportunities in the market, including analysis of revenue opportunities and related costs.
Develops planning & reporting tools to track progress on budget and business plans
Works closely with sales team to understand MasterCard, issuer, acquirer, merchant, and consumer needs and issues in order to develop Debit business proposals.
Provides support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on:
oProduct functionality and enhancements
oThe benefits of Debit products for consumers and issuers
oDebit key business indicators
Provides support to sales team to develop and present new debit product proposals for key issuers according to banks strategy and market opportunities.
Engages in idea generation for enhancements to existing products, concept validation, business case development, and financial modeling and planning of these enhancements.
Design and implement, in coordination with Loyalty team, a brand preference platform for the mass segment
Implement market wide usage campaigns for Debit portfolio (negotiation with merchants, coordinates execution (issuers, merchant and mastercard)
All About You
Professional with 3-5 years of experience
Engineering, Actuary, Marketing or Finance Degrees
Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to synthesize ambiguous information
Fluency in written and conversational English
Experience in product management in Financial or Technology institutions
Strong analytical and presentation skills needed
Developed skills in:
oIdentifying market trends
oExecuting market research
oDocumenting and organizing information and transform it into business presentations/proposals
oManage elements in a cross-functional project
oNegotiations with merchants
Experience working on product launches
Proven data driven analysis
Ability to develop relationships and deliver results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
Extensive interaction with external stakeholders at the local level through participation in client meetings and consumer events
Coordinated cross-functional initiatives, such as professional development opportunities, idea-creation programs, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities
