The Senior Delivery Project Manager (Sr. PjM) is responsible for driving on-time, on-budget, on-scope and on-quality services through a team of professionals assigned to engagements execution that are based on a formal Statement of Work (SOW) and a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as guiding principles for predictable behaviors in terms of project processes and outcomes. The Sr. PjM is responsible for project/portfolio delivery quality, profitability and customer satisfaction, among another metrics. She/he works closely with multiple external and internal stakeholders, such as the Customer project sponsors, Key customer users, Customer Decision Makers, MS Engagement Manager, MS Architects, MS Consultants, MS Sales, and with Partners from MS ecosystem.
The Senior PjM:
·Delivers engagements within the constraints of schedule, features/functionality, and budget.
·Manages the work that must be done by a team of professionals working together to deliver an integrated solution usually comprised of multiple Microsoft technologies, offerings and custom and/or packaged services, required to be assembled and provided through on-site or remote located resources working as a team for the objectives of the project/program (portfolio of projects).
·Establishes a strategy of continuous risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the project life cycle and create an environment to support it where the project team has visible, measurable, and repeatable processes for managing these risks.
·Executes established (as mutually agreed to) policies and procedures for the project/program, e.g. quality assurance, status reporting, team reference guide, communication plan, and setting up the environment.
·Manages (as mutually agreed) Microsoft resources, partners and/or customer resources and materials (equipment, supplies, stock, or consumable/perishable items) used to complete tasks in a project/portfolio of projects.
·Maintains the Master Project Plan to include at least: the Communication Plan (communications within the team and between the team and external entities) and the Team Reference Guide Plan (identifies team and external team members). In addition, maintains the Master Project Schedule.
·Stays current and involved in collecting conditions of the project relative to resources (people and funding/cost), schedule (time), and features (the solution and its quality) as specified by the established project protocol. In addition, performs the process of comparing actual performance with planned performance, analyze variances, evaluate possible alternatives and take appropriate corrective action (control) as specified by the established project protocol.
· Drives and reconciles project execution with financial projections in terms of cost and revenue.
·Collects, reviews and publishes project status regarding resources (people and optionally funding/cost), schedule (time), stakeholder management, and features (the solution and its quality) that influence project performance and completion.
·Follows the project management principles established by The Project Management Institute.
·Additionally, follows the principles of Microsoft Services Delivery Methodology (SDM) in project delivery
·University (BA) or Master level degree.
·5+ years of related experience.
·Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise, Project/Program Management, Strategic Insight.
·Expertise using MS Project.
·Spanish: native written & conversational level.
·English: fluent written & conversational level.
·Scrum Master certification.
