Microsoft Corporation Senior Business Program Manager in Mexico City, Mexico
The core purpose of the Business Program Manager (BPM) is to enable great and user centric connected business experiences in the Field through IT solutions.
The BPM is vital to improving the way we do business by being the essential tie between IT and the field community. BPM’s are tasked with ensuring an excellent field user experience by understanding customer service, technical support and consulting services scenarios, process and motivations and building relationships with primary Field stakeholders (e.g. Subsidiary Leads, HR and Finance leads, Sales Managers, VLM’s Consultants and other field service delivery roles). The primary objectives for this role are to advocate for field priorities, identify / validate solution requirements and design, drive readiness and deployment to ultimately influence adoption and satisfaction of IT global solutions in partnership with their corporate business and IT partners. The net result of the role is to influence, deploy and drive adoption of solutions to enable an excellent end user experience.
The BPM role is responsible for working with Corporate and Field stakeholders, across all phases of software development lifecycle to influence, deploy, and drive adoption effective IT global solutions in the Field. This includes identifying, assessing and prioritizing field needs, processes, requirement, design then driving deployment and adoption activities such as planning, change management, readiness, UAT and post implementation management of success measurement, field change requests and escalations.
The BPM drives these activities by being a field single point of contact for business capability leads and IT solutions. The role works closely with various Corporate IT solution management teams, Corporate Businesses, and other User Experience IT platform, business relationship, infrastructure, data, operations and business excellence management teams.
This role will work closely with field Subsidiary leaders, HR, Finance, Volume Licensing Managers, Licensing Sales Specialists, Sales Excellence Managers and other various service delivery stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones. Additionally, the BPM will also represent the User Experience IT Services solution management team on particular global solutions working directly with key points of contact within Corporate IT engineering, UX design and solution management.
The role will also involve flexing to support other functional in areas (such as sales, marketing, licensing, reporting, field operations, etc.) in a BPM capacity should the need arise to scale delivery on a priority program.
•5+ years of solution, project, process, and/or change management with proven track record of successful delivery in support of incentive compensation or finance field communities.
•Previous experience with Incentive Compensation Processes, Models and Systems desired
•Have the ability to support work across multiple time zones.
•Minimum 10+ years’ experience in the IT or software industry or in business/IT consulting services.
•Minimum BS/BA degree in Information Systems, related field OR equivalent business experience;
•Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
•Proven self-starter with a track record of successful entrepreneurial/individual contributor.
•Ability to influence and communicate at senior levels.

•Strong acumen in service delivery structures, approaches, and processes.
