A strategic part of our charter is to build a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising programs to enable both large and small advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. We are building a new team who will own the go to market strategy and adoption of the advertising solution through the agency channel. This role will have functional expertise in marketing/advertising, account management, and program management.
As a Marketing Program Manager, you will work directly with Amazon advertisers (vendors, sellers, and agencies) that manage a retailer's business with Amazon, as well as with internal stakeholders structuring and managing programs and activities to maximize advertiser engagement and success. You will serve as the Amazon ad product specialist, educating advertisers on our product solutions and best practices, while growing existing partnerships. You must be results-driven, continually identifying opportunities for improving performance. You must also have strong analytical skills, and be able to work with various and large data sets. In addition, you should be willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious growth plans. This is a critical role as your efforts will drive advertiser commitment, revenue growth and product improvements.
Build functional partnerships and marketing activities with our different Mexican advertiser segments, as well as with internal stakeholders. Serve as a consultative product expert, helping to guide onboarding, planning, execution and measurement. Work across account teams to ensure that large advertisers reach their performance goals.
Work closely with internal marketing and product teams on communication plans related to new feature launches and program changes.
Work with technical account management, sales, development, and product teams to identify and solve issues blocking advertiser performance.
Uncover the business needs of our key partners and develop strong feedback mechanisms to inform and influence our product roadmaps.
Identify and design innovative solutions to provide the benefits of program management engagement at scale.
To be given consideration for this opportunity, the successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and personal attributes:
Bachelor degree and proven work experience in digital marketing / advertising.
MS Office skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
SQL skills or the ability to learn them fast
Experience with performance marketing
Passion for e-commerce and/or digital marketing and a track record of delivering outstanding results
Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically
Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Superior verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by experience
An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for having fun while working hard
