Provides * technical support, monitoring and consultation to ALTAN Project Nokia organizations. This may include, but is not limited to: Performing compliance assessment; performing accident investigations for major accidents/incidents to determine root causes; conducting job safety analyses; performing pre-job surveys; Subcontractor HSE evaluations/qualification; prepare and coordinate HSE Site Audits, conducting industrial hygiene monitoring; developing written HSE compliance programs, lead/participate in Project Teams to ensure HSE issues are considered as an integral part of all business processes/procedures included Change Management.
Develops and ensures ** the rollout of HSE Programs for the Nokia ALTAN Project Delivery * to ensure compliance with HSSE applicable Requirements.Holds shared accountability with Management representatives in the development and deployment of HSE Management Systems as applicable to ALTAN Project . Conducts compliance audits individually or as part of a team. Conducts HSE Assessments to Services Providers for qualification purposes. Supports the development and execution of HSSE ALTAN Project level Objectives and -when applicable- Corrective Action Plans, coordinates Security Programs based on identified Risks for several regions/cities/sites .
Conducts reviews and prepares HSSE Plans for ALTAN Project; based on Nokia (i.e. HRPIA) and Customer adopted requirements. * Interacts with ALTAN Customer Technical, Project and HSSE Staff for the common understanding of HSSE Requirements.
Develops, supports and manages HSSE Training programs * in all areas identified during the HSSE Risk Analyses and Tasks to be performed within the scope of ALTAN Project. Instructor led training may be conducted by the incumbent or via the incumbent s recognised trainers, external training resources or on-line resources.
Coordinates / supports cross-unit/functional teams * that are in many cases geographically disperse. Responsible for identifying cost-effective solutions that meet legal requirements.
This position requires 3 - 5 years of professional experience, 1 2 of them within similar or associated functions. Usually this is supported by a University degree.
Ability to review new legal requirements, identify applicability to Nokia, develop compliance requirements, and rollout to impacted organizations.
Requires limited coaching and direction, self-driven; flexibility to act as either a team member or in a project leader role. / /
Effective negotiation skills are required. / /
