General Purpose: To support Nokia products, system solutions sales and marketing in a specific technology area with defined customers and/or prospects.
Main Responsibility Area: Sales and marketing support in product and solutions level. A working knowledge in own sales and technology area. Sales and marketing support to others in own product/sales area. Understanding client needs, identifying solutions to non-standard queries. Awareness of internal/ external business issues.
Job Description: Solution Specialist for bid preparation as a back office function.
Analyze customer bid documents (RFx) to identify the needs of MN Radio related products and solutions.
Prepare bid responses based on MN technologies.
Communicate with regional solution sales managers for consulting and preparing bid responses.
Defines and documents technical customer solution, responds to technical parts of tenders, and prepares solution and IRP pricing.
Capable of providing coaching, mentoring, sharing best practice and providing expert level technical knowledge.
Provides key contact and relationship with the global Business Lines and counterparts.
A source of expertise for others in the required technology area. Understanding communication service provider / operator needs. Can propose technical solution. Matching customer needs with Nokia products/systems/services and translating solutions to provide clear customer value and benefits.
Contributes and adds value to the proposed solution.
Quality delivery of the defined tasks within defined timeliness as per bid directive.
Complete Case Management for cases managing the delivery of bid including co-ordination, technical solution finalization, and ensure quality reviews of the bids.
Handle multiple cases as per the Regional requirements (handle overload situation)
Raising red flags, bid related concern at the right time so that the bid can be delivered on time.
Ensure adherence to the Quality & Process Guidelines, Involve and contribute to Internal Quality Reviews
Additional Requirements: Strong technical knowledge of MN Radio products.
Good understanding on Cellular technologies (2G,3G and LTE) and solutions.
Proactively look for new technology trends (5G, IoT)
Degree, Good qualitative experience in solution management or technical sales.
Solution Writing skills
Deep understanding in different operators networks mainly for LAT and NAM and challenges which represent offer best solution
Operator Business Understanding
Personal Networking to be increasing all the time
Team Leader and people management skills
Languages: English & Spanish (business fluent), Portuguese as a plus
Microsoft office tools proficiency
Good communications skills
Willingness to work in Flexi hours and with teams located in India
